K-12 PROGRAMS

Our evidenced-based programs are interactive and engaging. We teach techniques for coping with problems in positive and assertive ways, such as how to build healthy self-esteem and how to recognize and prevent destructive behaviors such as bullying, eating disorders, substance abuse, addiction, cutting, depression, and suicide. These programs help schools to improve student retention, reduce violence and increase overall student connectedness.

BoldJourney Program

BoldJourney is a self-esteem and communications program tailored specifically for K-12 students. We cover topics such as:

  • The importance of self-esteem

  • Self-awareness

  • Compassion for others

  • Negative thoughts and self-talk

  • How to communicate positively with others

  • The importance of listening

  • Anger management

  • Positive Behavior

For K-5th graders, the program is more activity/game-oriented to ensure engagement at those grade levels.

Walters Junior High in Fremont, CA, wrote about our visit to their school, if you want to read about and see our program in action.

BoldQuest Program

BoldQuest is our coaching and mentoring program aimed at 6th, 8th and 12th graders (i.e. the senior-most grade in a school). It's designed to develop leadership, communication and organization skills.

After providing a group of students the education similar to our BoldJourney program, we work with them on a regular basis to:

  • Identify problems that they and their peers are struggling with at their schools

  • Create a corrective action plan as a team

  • Find the passion of each team member

  • Create a project with a presentation/performance to other students at their school or other schools that helps their peers.

This program has also been used at some schools as part of a class project that requires working with a nonprofit for class credit.
